First came the moonstones, then the diamonds. And then I couldn’t decide if I wanted to accent with just chain, or the pearls. So I stepped away from the piece, checking in on my sketch once in awhile to contemplate, until I finally had my aha moment, I’ll do both! Every component incorporates meticulous and intricate wire wrapping, with each one wired to the next. Very fine gauge 14 K gold fill wire is wrapped around amazing Mystic gray moonstone focal stones. There are a total of 16 faceted diamond briolettes accenting the necklace along with freshwater pearls and very fine gold fill chain. The necklace is intended to fit at the base of the neck but I do think it would be stunning as a choker as well and can be shortened to such. It measures 17” in length. Absolutely one of a kind.
